FORGIVEN !

Once upon a time, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She grew to be a beautiful young woman who fell in love. She was a champion for innocent babies who deserve to live. So she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, and he came into the world having her loving heart. What seemed like only minutes, her baby boy was a beautiful young man who needed comfort for his lack of love from the most important man in his little-boy life. So he found a way to feel happy, but not a good way. In no time at all, he found himself to be the daddy to a beautiful baby girl. There were no "What Is A Daddy" schools to attend, he presumed. So he "flew by the seat of his pants"...and followed the crowd like a sheep to slaughter, and fell over the cliff. Long story short.............he is now on the wrong side of razor wire fences, paying dearly for his bad decisions. The Good News is that being alone with his thoughts and being unimpeded by the past sheeple influences has made him a now "beautiful" MAN ! There in that lonely place, he can now focus on the things that really comprise a fruitful and purposeful life that will surely include successful Fatherhood. He has been adopted by the Greatest Father who is reversing a bruised and broken heart with His love.
I am a grateful Mama, Grandmama, and Great-Grandma, to our God and Saviour, Who is compassionate, forgiving, and loving to us all. His mercy, grace, and love always trumps His judgement ! Our debt was totally paid for, in HIS courtroom 2000 years ago, wasn't it.

  2. On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 31 yrs of age............our precious grandson.......Kyle was tragically killed. Three police officers deemed it necessary to pump at least 9 bullets into him. This left his mom with a shattered & broken at the loss of her only child. He was not in any way displaying hostile or threatening toward them. He had fallen victim to a dependence on drugs, and had just completed nearly 10 yrs in NC prisons. Our hearts are comforted in knowing that he had nearly 10 yrs earlier had a powerful and authentic encounter with his newfound Saviour and Lord, Jesus. The addiction continued over the years, and resumed when he was released in August, 2019. Kyle was dearly loved by us his family, and was always known for his warm and generous heart, and his love especially for his own beautiful daughter,12 yr. old Lilly. He would have been 32 yrs old on April 13, 2020. Our sorrow and tears will end when we are all reunited with Kyle, in the glorious Kingdom of Heaven. AMEN.
