Of late, there is a sense of dryness and desert sands about and around me. As lovely as the "landscape" of my life is, i have come to the conclusion that only HE can fill these dry places with HIS Spirit. This picture of the waters below and the clouds above are images seen by the eyes of my soul. But the staircase climbing beyond, gives promise of so much more to my spirit. Maybe it is the number of my years that constantly remind me of the fleeting days behind and the limited days ahead that cause me to long for the authentic reality of an Eternal home. The Home from which I came, and where i will one day return. The Homecoming that i long for, is to once again be reunited with so many loved ones who have gone before me. What a glorious day that will be !! But even more glorious, is the prospect of running into the arms of THE Lover of my soul and spirit...........the One who will never ever let me down, or leave me, or cease to love me as if i am His only true love. On several occasions in my life He has shown Himself to me and allowed me to experience His love and His reality. I cling to those memories with great anticipation.
And so, as this (video) expresses..........i do now pray and ask with all my heart and soul, that only HE will satisfy the wilderness i am wandering in....... here below.
Then i will say with the ancient man of God, "I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my (spiritual ) eyes see You". (Job 42:5)
