Raised From The Dead ! New Name "Lazarus"

Will I ever fly again? So weak.

Hit the window ! No breath, no heartbeat !

I can see again !

I am ALIVE !!

Can I trust this guy? I feel his love !

"Delight yourself only in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart " !! (Ampl.)

How I have longed to someday,  finally capture a good photo of this magnificent daily visitor to our bird feeder outside our livingroom window ! As happens now and then,  I heard a loud "bump" on the glass, but failed to see a victim on our porch. So, I decided to take my broom to sweep the sunflower shucks from the porch floor. Suddenly i caught my breath upon seeing our precious friend lying on his back, not seeming to breathe at all. With pounding heart, I shouted for Randy and grabbed the camera to return to Mr. Redhead.  We began to speak LIFE into him, and cover him with the resurrection power to be revived. Pretty soon his eyes seemed to clear and his eyelids fluttered. After about 20 minutes Randy placed Mr. Redhead in a little flower pot, where he sat and sat. Then, we saw a quickening that caused him to begin to turn his head here and there, as if waking from his sleep ! Then he stood to his feet ! Now i was taking video, as we sensed that he was about to take flight. Oh JOY ! Mr Redhead spread his spectacular wings, and mounted up in the sunshine.....................BUT, out of nowhere, like lightning, MRS redhead appeared and joined him in flight ! They had a glorious reunion, it was so obvious to us that their joy was beyond our  description ! Little had we known that the Mrs. had been watching our every move, hearing our fervent prayers, from a nearby tree !
You may think I'm just an old "bird watcher", but more so, I am a "watcher" of the God we serve, as HE delights in delighting His own !  How I praise Him and Love Him forever !

  1. You have blessed me. I too have prayed over our birds that have hit our patio door. God has granted my prayer and raised them up. Praise be to our merciful God!
